Kingscourt were disappointed to loose the first game against the eventual cup winners NaGeal of Kerry, by a single point, after conceding a last minute goal. A committed performance against their host club Scartaglen of Kerry and a big win against London saw them progress to the plate semi-final, where they again played and prevailed against London. In the final Kingscourt met Kerry club Castlgregory. Despite conceding 2goals in as many minutes at the start of the second half Kingscout showed determination and resolve. They eventually won out on a scoreline of 2-7 to 2-2.

The Feile competition has grown to much more than a National Competition, teams from England, Scotland and the USA competed. Kingscourts group include teams from Armagh, London, Scotland, Lancashire and Kerry. Roll on 2017 when Feile will be hosted by clubs from Fermanagh, Monaghan and Cavan.
